Think Neurology
A theatrical dinner experience built around surprise, character design, and curated transitions.
The Context
Think Neurology requested an evening that could hold both decadence and play — something refined enough for a formal dinner, but alive enough to break the usual rhythm of a seated event.
The challenge was to create an experience that felt elegant on arrival, increasingly theatrical as the night unfolded, and effortless in its transition from dinner to afterparty.
The Approach
Built around the premise of a “play within a play,” the experience established the space itself as a living theater in which each guest also played a role. A singing emcee anchored the world of the party, while cirque artists, aerialists, jugglers, contortionists, acrobats, Cyr wheel, and an opera-singing aerialist surfaced in carefully timed moments throughout the night to shape the pacing of the evening rather than interrupt it.
Custom styling — including hand-painted masquerade masks, handcrafted wigs, archival theatrical wardrobe, and private-collection embellishments — gave the world its visual language.
As dinner unfolded, ambient interaction evolved into choreographed table vignettes, then a surprise flash mob and grand finale that released the room into the afterparty.
The Outcome
The evening moved as one continuous arc: arrival, intrigue, dinner, reveal, release – allowing guests to stay fully immersed in the “play within a play” from start to finish.
