Wicked: For Good | NYC Premiere

A royal Emerald City arrival, where custom-designed soldiers guided guests, press, and stars including Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande across a carpet fit for Oz.

For the New York City premiere of Wicked: For Good, we were brought on to translate the film’s visual language into a live, immersive arrival experience.

We led all casting, costume design, and wardrobe execution for ten Emerald City soldiers, creating a cohesive presence that anchored the carpet and framed the evening’s most high-profile arrivals. Each look was custom fabricated to feel ceremonial, graphic, and unmistakably Emerald City, adding structure, scale, and atmosphere to the entrance experience.

As the evening transitioned inside, the soldiers reappeared in a choreographed procession through the theater aisles, opening the cast conversation moments before the film began. The gesture carried the narrative from exterior to interior, blurring the line between premiere and performance.
